Minneapolis Post #1 bid a fond farewell to Thomas Klotz today in St Paul.

Members & supporters of American Legion Post 1 - I am sad to report we lost a valued member of our post. Tom Klotz, US Air Force veteran and 56 year member of American Legion Post 1 passed away on December 1, 2025.

1st Vice Sammi Hollinger volunteered at Bridging, an organization that supports individuals and families moving from homelessness into housing by supplying furniture and essentials for living.

The Minneapolis Post #1 December Membership meeting will also be a food drive for VAMC Food Shelf. - Read the full post for the food shelf needs.

The Minneapolis American Legion Post #1 & Eagles Aerie #34 are sponsoring free meals for Veterans on Veterans Day. Membership in either organization is NOT required. C'mon down & enjoy a meal on us!
