Sorting Sheets for Bridging

1^st Vice Sammi Hollinger volunteered at Bridging, an organization that supports individuals and families moving from homelessness into housing by supplying furniture and essentials for living.  This event was 2 hours of sorting and bundling sheet sets followed by a tour of the warehouse and an adult beverage if so desired.

This event was hosted thru Surly Gives a Damn, which runs a good event, and I always wear my Legion cap to represent.  I have had people greet me to say their grandfather or other family member was a member of Post 1.  It's amazing how many random people in the Metro know about Post 1.
