Fall Conference 2025

Just a quick update from Fall Conference...

Six Post 1 Members attended the Mn Department’s Fall Conference in St. Cloud Mn October 23-25:

• Post Finance Officer/Historian Robert Finnerty 

• Post 1 Member Joan P.

Attendees received instruction and access to subject matter experts in the following subjects-Legion Legal, Post Operations, Membership, District Operations, Resolutions, The Department of Minnesota's Strategic 5 Year Plan, Legion Legislation,  & Chaplains and the American Legion.

Many connections were made, and overall it was a fun and rewarding experience.

There are more opportunities for training coming up: The 5^th District Mid-Winter Conference will be held at the Crystal VFW on Jan. 10 starting at 9:00am. Planning for this event will begin soon, If you have any suggestions for topics or guest speakers let Ray Eiden, District Adjutant know. Also, The Department of Minnesota's Legion College is set for Thursday April 23 through Sunday April 26, 2026 at Camp Ripley, MN. Deadline to enroll is March 15 & spots are filling up fast. Post 1 will pay the enrollment fee of $200 for any Post 1 member who attends
