Minneapolis Post #1

Recently, one of our members was hospitalized with an urgent medical condition. Our brother reached out from his hospital bed for prayers and maybe a few visitors, and the Post 1 Family responded! Several members including our newly elected Chaplain, took the time to visit our brother for a quick chat, lunch, a cold pop, or a nice walk outside.

If any of you know of a member or any veteran who is hospitalized, is able to have visitors and would like that, please reach out. Do not reach out on social media, please call the Post phone 612/721-3023. Nothing is worse than being bored or lonely in the hospital, let's do what we can to ease that for our brothers and sisters.

Becky Nelson from Post 1 Auxiliary graciously showed me around the facility. The program includes dedicated spaces representing different cities, as well as an auditorium used for conventions. Participants also spend a day at the Minnesota State Capitol, further enriching their understanding of government in action.
